Rotary Club makes £2,000 charity donation

Rotary club President John Kay (centre) presents a £1000 cheque to NSPCC Littleborough District committee members Carol Kennedy and Ged O'Donnell.
The Rotary Club of Rochdale have presented cheques for £1,000 each to the Littleborough District of the NSPCC and Rochdale Connections Trust.
All of the funds will be used to help children in Rochdale and the North West.
Last month the Rotary Club raised £1,705 from a bag pack at Morrison's Supermarket on Kingsway and they made that up to £2000 by donating some of their own funds.
