Christmas restaurant stabbing - another arrest made

Police have made a further arrest for a brutal stabbing which took place in a Middleton restaurant in the early hours of Christmas Day.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and two counts of section 18 assault.
He has been bailed until Thursday 26 February 2009 pending further inquiries.
The arrest relates to the stabbing of three men at about 1.30am on Thursday 25 December 2008, in the Akash restaurant on Market Place in Middleton.
A 23-year-old man was stabbed several times in the stomach and a 22-year-old man was also stabbed in the stomach.
A third victim, a 21-year-old man, had a slash wound to the cheek.
