Hurl your haggis at Burn's Night celebration
Date published: 23 January 2009
As part of their Burn's Night celebrations the owners of the Spring Inn on Broad Lane are hosting a Haggis Hurling competition.
The unusual sport involves two team members - one to lob the haggis over their head and another to catch it in their kilt.
The event takes place tomorrow night (Saturday 24 January). Competitors must bring their own kilts!
To get involved contact either Rachel Howard or Andrew Morris at the Spring Inn on 01706 633529.
