Female student scarred for life in nightclub glass attack

A young woman has been scarred for life after being glassed in the face in a nightclub.
Laura Clarke, 21, was close to death, according to paramedics, after yob Lisa Scraggs smashed a glass in her face in a Manchester club.
The pretty student teacher needed 20 stitches on her face, on wounds that were close to her eye and jugular vein.
Scraggs, of Middleton, was convicted of wounding and is due to be sentenced next month.
She was told to expect jail when sentenced next month.
