Kirsty reaches £500 mark

Kirsty has raised £500 for Springhill Hospice for her skydive in March.

Daring Rochdale Online reporter Kirsty Rigg has now passed the £500 sponsorship mark thanks to kind donations made by Rochdale Online readers.

In March Kirsty will be jumping 10,000 feet out of a plane in aid of Springhill Hospice - attached to a parachute and a professional skydiver!

Now, less than a week after starting her Just Giving donation webpage, she has already raised £530, passing her £395 target, which means she will get to do the jump for free.

Kirsty said: “Our readers have been extremely supportive as a lot of people know what a good cause it is.

“Lots of local people know of Springhill Hospice and the great things they do. It will be an absolute pleasure to be able to give them my generous sponsorship money.”
