The son suffered a number of cuts to the head and was later treated at Rochdale Infirmary.
One of the robbers is described as white, in his mid to late 20s, about 5ft 10ins, of slim build, wearing dark clothing and a hooded jacket. The other suspect is described as white, in his late 20s, about 5ft 9ins, medium build, with short black hair with a scarf covering his face.
