Masked men steal cash in Heywood armed robbery

Masked men armed with a claw hammer threatened staff during a robbery in Heywood yesterday evening (Monday 5 January).
Three offenders went into Heap Bridge Filling Station on Bury New Road at 8pm and two of them jumped over the counter and demanded cash from the two women working in the store.
The three men left with money from the tills and got into a silver Peugeot parked on the forecourt and drove off towards Bury.
One of the men is described as white, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, aged about 20-years-old. He was wearing dark clothing and a balaclava covering his face.
The second offender is described as white, 5ft 7in to 5ft 8in tall, slimmer than the first offender and aged about 19-years-old. He was also wearing dark clothing and a balaclava.
The third offender is described as white, 5ft 5in to 5ft 6in tall, of medium build, aged about 17-years-old and he also wore a balaclava.
