Middleton residents urged to have their say
Date published: 06 January 2009
Middleton residents have been invited to ‘have their say’ at the Middleton Township Committee Meeting this Thursday (8 January).
The meeting will be held at the newly opened Middleton Arena for the first time and township manager Janet Watson believes that the meeting presents the perfect opportunity for Middleton residents to have their voices heard.
“These meetings are an ideal opportunity to meet your local councillors and council officers," she said. "You can ask a question about any council related matter during the open forum, or if you prefer, submit a question via email to middleton.township@rochdale.gov.uk. We’re all looking forward to the new venue, and I’m sure visitors will be impressed with the fantastic facilities.”
The meeting will take place in the theatre at 6.15 pm and all are welcome. For more information contact the Middleton Township office on 0845 602 4993.
There are six township meetings held each year.
