Five to face court after class-A drug raid

Three teenagers and two others have been remanded in custody after a significant supply of illegal drugs was recovered in Littleborough and Wardleworth yesterday morning (Monday 15 December).
Police raided seven addresses as part of an on-going investigation into the supply of Class A drugs and money laundering in Rochdale.
Abid Mahmood and Atif Mahmood, both 18, are charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and Atif will also face charges of possession with intent to supply heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis, as well as participating in the money laundering.
19-year old Jawaad Ali of Yorkshire Street faces similar drug charges.
Two further suspects, Steven Holt, 37, and Jenny Healey, 24, face charges of conspiracy to supply and possession of Class A drugs.
The group are due to appear at Rochdale Magistrates Court today.
