Father Christmas keeps things clean outside the Rochdale Online office on Bury Road.
Santa has been doing his bit to clean up the streets of Rochdale – even though he is so busy packing Christmas presents.
The man in red gave up his time to go litter picking as part of the Big Clean event, organised by Rochdale Council.
Naturally, a visit to Rochdale wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Rochdale Online office, so he even popped in to say hello to news reporter Kirsty Rigg.
The council has spent £100,000 towards cleaning up the borough, and is asking people, community groups, schools, businesses, youth groups, friends and neighbours to get together and come up with ideas about places that they would like to see tidied up.
