PGC Renault goes bust - more Rochdale jobs lost
Date published: 01 December 2008
Rochdale's town centre Renault dealership PGC has ceased trading and 17 employees are to lose their jobs in the run up to Christmas.
The family run Molesworth Street company have been trading in Rochdale for more than 25 years. The dealership was still accepting car service and MOT jobs last week but customers have now been told that the company has ceased trading and that work on their cars will not be completed.
Customers that have paid for work by credit card should be able to reclaim monies via their insurance but anyone who has paid by cash or by cheque may have to rely on the kindness of the company if they are to get a refund.
PGC confirmed that it had ceased trading and that jobs would be lost exclusively to Rochdale Online this morning (Monday 1 December).
