Update: Repairs at Moorhouse Primary School “could take some time”.

Moorhouse Primary School
Repairs at Moorhouse Primary School could stretch well into next week, but classrooms should be fully operational by Monday.
The Milnrow primary school was forced to close on Wednesday (26 November) after yobs stole copper pipes from the roof and caused massive floods throughout the building.
Workmen are currently in the building and could be there for the duration of next week, although the area will be made safe enough for the pupils to return.
Rochdale Online understands that the damage will cost £20,000 to repair.
The infant block, including reception, the nursery and Key Stage One, has re-opened as normal. But the main building is to remain closed for the time being.
Moorhouse has informed Rochdale Online that if there are any changes they will know by this afternoon (Friday 28 November).
