Man missing from Oldham/Rochdale
Date published: 25 November 2008
Police are making a fresh appeal for the public's help in tracing a 20-year-old Oldham man who has been missing from home for almost two months.
Robert Williams was last seen at his home on Middleton Road West, Chadderton, on 28 September 2008.
He has never been missing before and it is out of character for him to disappear without making contact with his family.
Since he has been missing, police have made inquiries with his friends, many of whom live in Rochdale, but none has had any contact with Robert.
Police Constable Cathy Watts, of Greater Manchester Police's Oldham division, said: "Robert's family are really concerned for his welfare, as are we.
"His bank account has not been used and nobody knows where he might be. I'm appealing to anyone who does, or to Robert himself, to get in touch and let us know he is safe."
He is described as a white man, about 6ft tall, of slim build with short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark coloured thin jacket, dark jeans, black trainers with blue stripes and had diamond earrings in both ears.
Anyone who know of Robert's whereabouts should call police on 0161 856 8846.
