Wanted: Jack Herring.
Rochdale police are hunting a suspected rapist who went missing after he was bailed from police custody in June.
Rochdale CID have extended their search to Gravesend as it is believed suspect Jack Herring may have connections in the area.
Police want to speak to Herring, 19, of no fixed address, in connection with the rape of a 16-year old girl in Littleborough on 13 February.
He was arrested in April but went missing between the time he was bailed and the time he was due to return to police on 27 June.
He is described as a white, about 5ft 5in tall with a medium build, short dark hair, and a strong Irish accent.
Anyone who knows of Jack Herring's whereabouts is asked to call Rochdale CID on 0161 856 8753 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
