Broadfield Hotel to re-open in new year
Date published: 05 November 2008
The Broadfield Hotel will re-open in the new year after the building on Sparrow Hill was purchased by the Best Western hotel group.
The building will undergo a complete refurbishment after it was gutted when the hotel went into administration earlier this year.
Duncan Stewart from Best Western said: "Myself and my business partner already own hotels in the North West and we are more than pleased that we have aquired this historic property."
The hotel will re-open in the new year as the Best Western Broadfield Park Hotel.
Many couples had their wedding plans thrown into jeopardy when the hotel shut down in August and many of them lost huge deposits that they had already put down for room hire.
