Former mayors of Rochdale came together to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the ex-Mayors dinner last night (Monday 4 November).
To celebrate the anniversary, Ron Lewis, who served as mayor in 1980/81, was presented with a certificate to mark the occasion.
The event provides a chance for the town's former mayors to have a pleasant get-together and reminisce about their time in office.
Each year one of the ex-mayors hosts the event, and this year Councillor Angela Coric was given the honour. She said: "It was nice to see everybody. We had 34 ex-mayors there this year, which is an excellent turnout. I am very pleased with how it went and I think everybody enjoyed themselves."
