Man hit by car in Milnrow

An 18-year old man is in a critical condition in Rochdale Infirmary after he was hit by a car on Elizabethan Way last night (Sunday 26 October).
The man suffered serious head injuries when he was hit by a green Ford Mondeo near to the Wishing Well pub at around 8.50pm.
Road closures were put in place on Elizabethan Way but were lifted after a few hours.
It is believed the victim may have been in a local cricket club before the collision and police are appealing to anyone who saw him or who witnessed the collision to come forward.
