Sensei Ansari expressed his pride, stating, "This is an outstanding achievement for our Dojo Karate Centre, Rochdale, Oldham, and Middleton, and for Great Britain.

"From all clubs present at the Championships, Dojo Karate Centre won the most medals as a club. We will be receiving another trophy for this as well. I'm particularly pleased to see our squad members push their limits and now work even harder to prepare for the World Championships in Dubai in October 2025. The work starts now, guys!"

He added: "They have all shown dedication, hard work, and their sportsmanship has truly shone through, bringing honour and recognition to our community."

Special recognition was given to Sensei Irfan Ansari (chief referee for all traditional events), Huseyn Mikayilov (Team GB male captain), and Jeet Kerai (competitor management), who were honoured with a medal-mounted gift from the head tournament organiser, Chris Hemstock, in acknowledgment of their contributions.

The Dojo Karate Centre also extended their gratitude to the parents for their support and efforts in raising funds to enable their children’s participation.

To celebrate their success, Dojo Karate Centre is offering a free class to all youngsters during the school holidays. Those interested can book their free class at www.thedojo.net
