Detective thriller filmed in Littleborough has landed on BBC One

Date published: 16 July 2024

The first episode of new detective thriller The Jetty aired on BBC One last night (Monday 15 July) and is now available on iPlayer to stream.

Locals may have spotted crews filming the gripping new drama, already dubbed by The Guardian as “the new Happy Valley”, as it was largely filmed around Hollingworth Lake and Hollingworth Lake Rowing Club.

Local viewers can expect to spot more familiar locations on the four-episode drama, including Todmorden and surrounding canal spots.

Crews also turned heads last year when they set up camp on the Lever Street car park in Todmorden, just over the border.

‘The Jetty’ landed on BBC iPlayer on Monday (15 July)  with all four episodes available to stream.

Episodes will air weekly on BBC One at 9.00pm on Monday evenings.
