Programme to help carers

A series of courses for adults who care for someone living with a long term condition or disability will be running throughout November and December to help them look after their own health.
The programme, called ‘Looking After Me,’ is provided by the Expert Patient programme at NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.
The course is free and aims to help carers feel more in control and do the things they want to do whilst in their caring situation.
It is based at the Carers Resource Centre, Rochdale, on the following dates:
Monday 3 November – 5.30pm – 8.30pm
Monday 10 November – 6pm – 8.30pm
Monday 17 November – 6pm – 8.30pm
Monday 24 November – 6pm – 8.30pm
Monday 1 December – 6pm – 8.30pm
Monday 8 December – 6pm – 8.30pm
