Motorcyclist dies after early morning collision in Littleborough
A motorcyclist has died after a serious collision with a car on Todmorden Road early this morning (Friday 12 July).
Emergency services rushed to the scene, close to the junction of Ferrand Lodge at approximately 7.30am, to find the rider unresponsive.
It has now been confirmed that, unfortunately, the motorcyclist passed away from their injuries.
Todmorden Road remains closed both ways.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed that a motorcyclist had passed away, and that the cordon remains in place.
TfGM has been informed and asked to redirect buses on this route.
