Springhill Hospice celebrates its incredible volunteers this Volunteers' Week
Date published: 06 June 2024
Over 200 volunteers support Springhill Hospice
Monday 3 June was the start of Volunteers' Week, and Springhill Hospice would like to express their massive, heartfelt thanks to each and every one of the 200+ volunteers, who work tirelessly to help their local hospice.
Without them, Springhill Hospice would not be able to provide the quality and consistency of service that they do, day in and day out to the people of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.
To those who help in the shops, hospice kitchens, at local fundraisers; those who answer phones on reception, hand-make things and tend to the beautiful gardens; those who manage collection pots, offer companionship to patients, and the myriad other ways you help – Springhill would like to thank you endlessly.
If you would like to learn more about volunteering opportunities, or to join Springhill’s family of volunteers, keep an eye on the hospice’s social media channels for the hows and whys of volunteering.
