Petrus' stand up for women comedy fundraiser
Local charity Petrus is holding another fun-filled fundraising comedy event, this time at the Frog & Bucket in Manchester.
The Petrus Comedy Club event promises an afternoon of hilarity and heart-warming moments, all while raising vital funds for Petrus’ women’s service.
Petrus has been providing support for those who have experienced, or who are at risk of being homeless in Rochdale, for more than 50 years. Their women’s service provides vital support for women in contact with the criminal justice system or at risk of offending or victimisation.
The afternoon features an all-female line up. Hosted by the talented Katie Mulgrew, the stage will be lit up with performances by Dawn Bailey, Jules O’Brian and Allyson June Smith. From witty observations to side-splitting anecdotes, these comedians promise to keep the audience entertained from start to finish.
Fundraising Officer, Colin Manford said: “We’re so grateful to have this opportunity to showcase the work of our dedicated women’s service and celebrate the successes of the women who use it.”
To book your tickets for an afternoon of laughter, community, and giving back, visit the Frog and Bucket website, or their box office.
