Serious collision on Wildhouse Lane leaves driver in life-threatening condition

A head-on crash on Wildhouse Lane on Sunday 3 March 2024 has left one person in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

Police have said that a Nissan Micra travelling northbound collided with a BMW One Series heading in the opposite direction at around 7.45pm.

The driver and passenger from the BMW sustained minor injuries whereas the driver of the Nissan remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
