Sir Tony Lloyd sends a Christmas message to Rochdale residents
A Christmas message from the Member of Parliament for Rochdale, Sir Tony Lloyd.
2023 has been a difficult year for many people in Rochdale with rising prices, and issues both national and international affecting people's lives. It's been an incredibly busy year as my office and I have sent over 22,000 pieces of correspondence, helping thousands of people in Rochdale with individual problems and enquiries.
As we look forward to Christmas and what 2024 may bring, we must offer our thanks and support to our NHS staff and care workers, emergency service workers, police officers and fire and rescue workers and all those who will keep things running by working over the Christmas period. But I also want to those those who volunteer and bind Rochdale and our wider society together. But to everyone across Rochdale and across the world,
I wish you all the best wishes for Christmas and a happy and peaceful 2024.
