Mighty Jitters
A four-piece alternative band from Heywood played to a packed-out audience at the Manchester Academy 3 on Friday (24 November).
Mighty Jitters is made up of Ryan Simpson (vocals, guitar), Gray Linsley (vocals, bass), Neil Kelly (drums) and Jimmy Chadwick (vocals, guitar).
The quartet have been playing together for around four years and have recorded four original tunes - Pay the Price, Heywood’s Finest, Rattled Coins, Living Life Ain’t Easy – which are available on the usual platforms, including Spotify.
Mighty Jitters cite their influences as ranging from punk and ska to rock and indie.
They said: “Thanks to everyone who came to the gig; it was amazing to play such an iconic venue where we have also watched bands.
“We’re looking forward to starting the new year with more live performances and getting in the studio in January.”
Mighty Jitters will be playing at The Met in Bury in the new year.
