Christmas shoebox appeal for the Hollingworth Lake Animal Centre and the Manchester & Cheshire Dogs’ Home

Vets4Pets Middleton is running a special Christmas shoebox appeal for the Hollingworth Lake Animal Centre and the Manchester & Cheshire Dogs’ Home.
The veterinary practice is appealing for shoebox donations to spread festive cheer to the many animals awaiting adoption at the two rescue centres.
Anyone who can is asked to bring in a festive shoebox containing specific goodies to the Rochdale Road practice before 21 December so they can be dropped off for Christmas Day.
Suggestions for dog-friendly boxes include blankets, bowls, toys, chews, food and treats, whilst cat-friendly box ideas cover blankets, bowls, toys, food and treats.
Boxes for small animals (such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice and rats, etc.) could contain wood shavings, hay, bowls, toys, food and treats.
Please drop off donation boxes to Vets4Pets Middleton, 192 Rochdale Road, Middleton, M24 2QF.
