Vote for your favourite small business in Heywood and Middleton constituency

Date published: 17 November 2023

Chris Clarkson MP is hosting the second annual small business competition ahead of Small Business Saturday on 2 December.

Mr Clarkson is asking members of the community to nominate their favourite small, local or independent business in the Heywood and Middleton constituency to mark Small Business Saturday on 2 December.

Businesses can be anywhere in the constituency including Heywood, Middleton, Bamford, Castleton or Norden. This could be any business in the community - from a shop to a service, to a pub or restaurant.

Whether they provide your favourite products or services, or just go that extra mile for their customers, this is an opportunity to recognise their hard work.

Last year's award was won by Ace Clearance. The Sadler Street business received the most nominations and had outstanding remarks from residents. Over 600 nominations were received for over 40 businesses in total.

Mr Clarkson will select the business from your nominations to be crowned the 2023 Small Business of the Heywood and Middleton constituency. He said: “We are fortunate to have such a fantastic range of local small businesses across the constituency. This award is all about celebrating them and their hard work.”

Nominations can be submitted on Chris’s website at www.chrisclarkson.org.uk/form/2023-small-business

The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday 24 November.
