The vehicle was stopped on Bright Street following a moving traffic offence at around 1pm on 7 November by officers from the Operation Revoke team.

The driver - a 31-year-old man - was arrested close by after he discarded a bag and he remains in custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs.

Revoke officers carried searches at two addresses in Rochdale where a large amount of cannabis, drug-supply paraphernalia, more than £15,000 in cash, criminal property assets, a knuckleduster and two extendable batons were discovered
