Staff and students at Matthew Moss High School are celebrating another year of GCSE success, with special commendation going to Ali-Gazi Navqi (five Grade 9s, four Grade 8s); Abigail Mason (two Grade 9s, six Grade 8s) and Jed Gift-Edwards (four Grade 9s, one Grade 8, three Grade 7s).

The dedication of and hard-work of Mohammed Ali, resulting in an excellent set of GCSEs is also worthy of note.

Headteacher Chris Jennings said: “Congratulations to all of our Year 11 learners who have received their GCSE results today! Over the last five years, this group of learners has demonstrated remarkable resilience, composure and agency in the face of the most challenging circumstances, and achieved some great results.

I would like to thank all staff for their dedication and hard work and parents for their continued support, as, together, we have navigated learners through their secondary education journey. Learners deserve the good results that have been achieved and on behalf of all members of the Matthew Moss High School community, I would like to wish Year 11 all the very best for the future.”
