Join Springhill Hospice for a day of delicious food and drink

Date published: 18 May 2023

Springhill Hospice is hosting its first ever Food and Drink Festival on Saturday 3 June 2023 between 11am – 3pm at Coffee @ the Craven on Broad Lane, Rochdale.

This family-friendly event is taking place within the grounds of the hospice's own coffee and gift shop, with a variety of delicious hot food, drinks, and artisan produce stalls.

The Springhill Food and Drink Festival welcomes everyone to enjoy incredible, diverse food and drink from local suppliers, and taste worldwide dishes from community groups within the Rochdale borough.

An abundance of entertainment will be available all day, with performances from a DJ, as well as other live performers. Not forgetting the little ones, Little Hen’s Early Years Activities, Milnrow, will be running classes for children throughout the afternoon; making bread and butter from scratch, as well as many other activities for them to join.

The Food and Drink Festival is free entry, and all members of the community are encouraged to come along, to support Springhill Hospice and Coffee @ the Craven, whilst enjoying a brilliant day out.

Jo Ali, community engagement officer, said: “We are delighted to invite people to our first-ever Food and Drink Festival; held in the grounds of the hospice’s own coffee shop, Coffee @ the Craven. It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy local tasty food and drink in a fun atmosphere, all whilst supporting Springhill Hospice. We can’t wait to see our community at this new event!”

Springhill’s Food & Drink Festival is proudly sponsored by The Quirky Catering Company.
