This weekend sees the return of Dale-Con to Rochdale’s Crown Oil Arena

Date published: 17 May 2023

This year's Dale-Con event is shaping up to be the biggest one yet with actors, movie props, cars from the films and even a team of wrestlers battling it out in a ring to be crowned King or Queen of Rochdale.

Jeff Parazzo and Kevin Duhaney who appeared in Power Rangers Dino Thunder are over from America, along with 90’s Gladiators favourite Kim Betts aka Lightning.

Springhill Hospice is the charity chosen to be supported for the event and they will receive 100% of all the programme sales, as well as money raised from auctioning off the banners signed by the guests at the end of the show.

Star Wars actor Andrew Lawden brings his Jedi lightsaber training to the event, and fans of Netflix won’t be disappointed either with sets from Stranger Things and Wednesday.

There will also be some great props from Game of Thrones and many other favourites from the past like Falkor the Luck Dragon from Neverending Story and even singing Disney Princesses.

With actors from Marvel, DC and more this is promising to be a great family day out with something for everyone and a huge collection of traders with the geekiest of cool gifts.
