Bamford neighbours celebrate coronation

Date published: 11 May 2023

Neighbours in Bamford came together on Monday (8 May) for a street party to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Approximately 50 residents from Swallow Drive, Teal Court and Partridge Close celebrated the historic occasion on the Swift Road green from 2pm to 7pm.

All enjoyed a “good picnic and party atmosphere.”

The event was one of several street parties organised over the Bank Holiday weekend in honour of the King's Coronation on Saturday 6 May.
