A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a ‘disturbance’ in Alkrington.
Greater Manchester Police were called to a report of a disturbance at The Moss at around 5.25pm on Wednesday 3 May.
One man has been taken to hospital with injuries to his arms, legs and back.
One man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody for questioning. It is understood the incident is not being treated as a stabbing.
A spokesperson for GMP said: “Enquiries are still ongoing at this stage.”
