Balderstone Learning Centre is hosting a ‘Get Online Day’ for adult learners on Wednesday 22 October.
The aim of the day is to open up Balderstone Learning Centre on Queen Victoria Street to people who have fears about computing, and help them to overcome these fears by teaching them a range of computing skills.
On the day visitors will have an opportunity to speak to people who used to struggle with computers but have received help from staff at the centre to get them up and running.
Majed Iqbal, Balderstone ICT Learning Centre Manager, said: "The day is for people of various computing abilities, so those who are clueless with computers to people who just want to polish their skills are more than welcome."
The event runs from 9:30am until 6pm, and is for anyone aged 18 years and above.
