SESD Performing Arts Academy at St Anne’s Academy welcomed Twist and Pulse
A performing arts academy in Middleton enjoyed a workshop taught by former Britain’s Got Talent winners Twist and Pulse.
SESD Performing Arts Academy at St Anne’s Academy welcomed the dance duo on Wednesday (19 April).
Sophie Bennion, of SESD, said: “We arranged for an amazing opportunity for the students to be taught by Twist and Pulse.
“It was enjoyed by all.”
Twist and Pulse – Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy – became instant favourites when they auditioned for the ITV talent show in 2010.
Aged just 18 and 19, their unique fusion of street dance and comedy landed them runners-up of series four.
The pair returned in 2019 for Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, becoming the first Golden Buzzer act to win the show, beating father and son duo Stavros Flatley and Ukraine's Got Talent winner Kseniya Simonova.
SESD teaches street dance, cheerleading, musical theatre and acting for all ages as well as offering holiday workshops as part of the Holiday Activity and Food Programme.
