Local business supports Springhill Hospice’s 30th Annual Woman of Rochdale Luncheon

Date published: 18 April 2023

Local business owners and community fundraisers, Mike and Debbie Goldrick, have once again sponsored the Springhill Hospice Woman of Rochdale Luncheon with a donation of £1,000.

Mike Goldrick Blinds & Curtains has been a strong supporter of the event over the years and has continued to pledge funding again in 2023.

The Woman of Rochdale Luncheon is organised by Springhill Hospice and returns this year for its 30th anniversary.

This prestigious annual luncheon brings together women from across the borough of Rochdale, to celebrate their achievements and contributions within their communities, culminating in the winner being bestowed with the impressive Woman of Rochdale Award Rose Bowl.

This year’s luncheon takes place on Friday 28 April at Rochdale Golf Club.

Vicki Murray, Corporate and Partnerships Fundraiser at Springhill Hospice, said: “We are really excited for this year’s event, especially with it being the 30th anniversary. We have a really exciting event planned this year, and we can’t wait to see all our supporters again. We wouldn’t be able to hold these types of events without them, and I would like to say a huge thank you to Mike and Debbie Goldrick for their generous donation. I would also like to thank Performance Doorset Solutions and Recruitment Solutions for their sponsorship of the entertainment and raffle.”
