Pilsworth Road, between Seymour Street and Argyle Street/Egerton Street
Part of Pilsworth Road has been closed due to a water leak (Tuesday 28 March).
The leak was first reported to United Utilities shortly after 5am, which has seen a large section of the road flooded due to a burst pipe.
The closure affects Pilsworth Road between Seymour Street and Argyle Street/Egerton Street, and a number of local residents may be experiencing no water or poor pressure.
United Utilities has been on scene since the morning, and has issued the following update as of 11.36am: “It’s taking us longer than we’d hoped to complete the repair in the area. Please be assured repairs are underway, but we do still have some work to do.
“Thank you for your understanding and patience whilst our team continue to work on this.
“We will keep you updated here as we move along with the repair.”
Bus services are being diverted, please check with your service provider.
