Man injured in ‘suspected brawl’

Fieldhouse Road was shut by police for several hours
A man was injured in a suspected brawl on Fieldhouse Road in Rochdale on Sunday afternoon (19 March).
Police received reports regarding the concern for the welfare of a man at around 4pm, closing Fieldhouse Road with a cordon for several hours.
A spokesperson for GMP said: “Injuries sustained are believed to not be life-threatening and enquiries are ongoing at this time into a suspected affray with no arrests made currently.”
The North West Ambulance Service confirmed the man was taken to hospital.
Anyone with information that may help officers with their investigation is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident 2015 of 19/03/23.
