Rochdale police officer charged with battery and strangulation

A Greater Manchester Police officer has been charged with two counts of battery and one count of strangulation.
The offences relate to incidents which occurred off-duty in Halifax last year.
PC James Morrow, aged 29, of Rochdale District, was charged following an investigation by West Yorkshire Police.
He has been suspended from duty and will appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on Monday (20 March).
