Pedestrian left with serious injuries after hit and run in Middleton

A pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a hit and run collision in Middleton on Friday evening (10 March).
A car collided with a pedestrian at the junction of Spring Vale and Oldham Road - opposite the Hare and Hounds Pub in Middleton, Rochdale. The driver did not remain at the scene.
One man was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries, although these are not believed to be life-threatening.
An investigation is underway and officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have footage of the incident - including CCTV or dashcam - to please get in touch.
