Middleton resident Alireza, recently showcased spectacular musical talent at a highly-anticipated annual Festive Evening, hosted by Abbey College Manchester.

Alireza, a Year 11 student at the college, delighted the audience with a trio of exceptional piano recitals. He performed renditions of classic Persian songs including Chesme Man, Solltaneghalbha and Gheseye.

During the evening, members of the college community gathered at the Unitarian Chapel on Cross Street, which was awash with merriments and joy as gifted vocalists, pianists and violinists took centre stage.

Principal Chris Randell commented: “Alireza truly captivated the audience with his remarkable talent, it was a wonderful display.

“The Festive Evening is a fantastic example of one of the many occasions and opportunities on offer to students which form an integral part of the college experience here at Abbey College Manchester.

“As always, it was an incredibly joyous event thoroughly enjoyed by all, helping to strengthen our college community even further.”

Abbey College is an independent college in Manchester city centre for students aged 15-19.
