The armed robber threatens the shopkeeper at the Heywood newsagent with a knife before making off with cash.
The 16-year old who was arrested yesterday in connection with the armed robbery at a Heywood shop on Sunday 28 September, has been charged.
He is due to appear at Rochdale Magistrates Court this afternoon (Tuesday 7 October).
Police released CCTV footage of the incident last week, which showed a person using a knife to threaten the shop keeper at KG Ahmed newsagent on Miller Street.
The man made off with a sum of cash from the till at around 2.45pm and ran off down Buckley Street.
No-one was hurt during the incident but the shopkeeper was left extremely shaken.
