Police wish to speak to this man in connection with the incident
A man in his 30s has been left with a fractured eye socket and cheekbone after being assaulted on Packer Street in Rochdale town centre during the early hours of Monday 5 December.
The victim suffered a fractured cheek bone, a fractured eye socket, a damaged eye nerve, and multiple cuts to the face which he is likely to need further medical treatment for.
Officers investigating this incident have followed up on a number of lines of enquiry and are now in a position to ask for the public's assistance.
GMP would like to speak to the man pictured below as they believe he could assist with enquires.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time or who may have witnessed the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 2422 of 5/12/22.
