Children from Brimrod Primary School laid a wreath at the cenotaph for Remembrance Day
Children from Brimrod Primary School laid a wreath at the cenotaph in Rochdale for Remembrance Day.
On Remembrance Day, Friday 11 November, the whole school came together to celebrate the lives of those who have died in service. Pupils completed a range of activities throughout the day and held a minute's silence and a special assembly.
Head boy, Sam and head girl, Safaa along with members of the school council went to the cenotaph to lay a wreath on behalf of the school.
Sam read the poem 'In Flanders Field' by John McCrae and did an amazing job.
Joanne Morgan, school administrator, said: “They all represented our school impeccably and should be really proud of themselves.”
