Treetop Trek offers free Saturday activity to Middleton families

Date published: 02 September 2022

The Treetop Trek aerial adventure at Heaton Park is offering Middleton families an hour of free adventure on Saturdays throughout September.

The ‘free Saturday sessions’ initiative has been created by the Treetop team as a gesture to those who are feeling the effects of the cost-of-living crisis and the pandemic – which has left many families no longer able to enjoy adventurous days out together.

Families who feel they need help can claim free tickets for the Treetop Nets adventure, and the team is keen to see as many local families as possible out to play this September.

Treetop Nets features giant bouncy trampolines, super-fast slides, giant ball zones, aerial walkways, and crawl tunnels. Completely surrounded by three-metre-high nets on all sides, kids aged 3-years and over are safe to run wild and enjoy free play beneath the tree canopy, without a harness.

Thomas Patrick Kenny, General Manager at Treetop Trek, said: “All families are having to make difficult choices right now about what they can and can’t do.

“We want to give something back and offer those who may not be fortunate enough to enjoy experiences with their family the chance to come and enjoy what we have to offer and make some memories. The Nets are open to ages three years and over, so juniors can join in on all the fun.”

To qualify, families must be residents in a neighbouring postcode area, which includes the M24 postcode area. The offer is open to families with at least one child of school age and can be redeemed on Saturday mornings during September 2022: it does not include Treetop Trek’s classic ‘Trek’ and ‘Mini Trek’ options.

To redeem this offer, simply call the Treetop bookings team 01539 447186 and receive up to four tickets per booking. Restrictions and standard terms and conditions apply and the offer is subject to availability.

Places must be booked via telephone, and participants need to take with them proof of address, such as a utility bill.

To qualify, families must be residents in the following postcodes only: M24, M25, M8, M9, M45, M6, M7 and M27.
