You have the chance to improve local GP websites and earn a £25 shopping voucher as a 'thank you'.
Local healthcare watchdog Healthwatch Rochdale is holding a focus group, giving local people the chance to influence change, after carrying out reviews of all local GP websites.
A review of every GP practice website was carried out by Healthwatch Rochdale staff and Advisory Group volunteers with the aim of improving the standard and consistency of GP websites across the Rochdale borough.
Healthwatch Rochdale focused on twenty-six areas that GP websites should meet to see how many met this standard. Following on from this work, Healthwatch Rochdale is giving local patients the chance to say what information they want &and need on their GP website.
The focus group is being held via Zoom on Wednesday 29 June 6pm – 7.30pm for a maximum of eight participants. Those who attend will receive a £25 shopping voucher for taking part and completing some pre questions.
Kate Jones, Healthwatch Rochdale Chief Executive Officer, said: “Healthwatch Rochdale is an independent organisation that exists to make sure local people can influence NHS & social care services. We want to make sure that GP websites meet a certain minimum standard and that local people have a say in what that standard is. We hope to include patients from across the four townships of the borough, so if you are interested in helping us to improve local GP websites, please join us”.
You can join the focus group by emailing info@healthwatchrochdale.org.uk or telephoning 01706 249 575 for the Zoom link.
