CCTV footage of Heywood armed robbery

A man armed with a knife stole cash during an armed robbery at a shop in Heywood on Sunday (28 September).
Police have released CCTV footage of the incident at K G Ahmed newsagent on Miller Street in the hope someone will recognise the offender.
The man went into the shop at about 2.45pm and threatened the shopkeeper with a knife while demanding cash.
The man left the shop with money from the till and ran off down Buckley Street.
No-one was hurt during the incident but the shopkeeper was left extremely shaken.
The offender is described as white, 18 years old and was wearing a black top with the hood up.
He was hanging around outside the shop in the lead up to the robbery and police are keen to speak to anyone that may have seen someone acting suspicious around that time.
