Rochdale community group All4Youth recently delivered another successful residential trip for local youngsters.
Over 20 young people took part over a three-day stay which included various activities including ziplining, ‘leap of faith’, abseiling, problem solving tasks and sports tournaments.
The trip was funded by British Pakistan Foundation who are now in partnership with All4Youth and plan to bring many more projects for the Rochdale youth and community.
This trip benefited the participants by allowing them to overcome their fear of heights, gain confidence, work in teams and make new friends. They also got a chance to train with a professional cricket coach.
Participant Waris Mehtab said: “The trip was amazing; definitely one of the best trips I’ve been on in my life. It was really fun and exciting, and I felt safe and protected there.
“Hospitality was great and I can’t thank the team leaders, staff and Hassan [Ali, All4Youth founder] enough for how wonderful they were.
“I will 100% recommend going on future trips with All4Youth as it was astounding.”
Hassan Ali, founder, said: “All the feedback from the trip was positive. To see how much these trips create a positive impact on young lives shows that all of our projects are effective.
“I'm currently planning more youth projects for summer and look forward to sharing this with our youth. Thank you to our team leaders Ismail Hussain, Mohammed Farhan, Kashif Mohammed and Junaid Mohammed.”
Based in Rochdale, All4Youth also provides support and guidance to those suffering from mental health issues, drug/alcohol addiction, bullying, depression, anxiety, and more. The organisation also raises awareness of what older generations should look out for and how they can support the younger generation.
