The branch desperately needs dry food for its 46 residents
The Rochdale branch of the RSPCA is running low on cat biscuits.
The branch has recently benefitted from a donation of wet food from the Tesco distribution centre, but desperately needs dry food for its 46 residents.
Manager of RSPCA Rochdale, Shirley Mellor said: “When we’re desperate, we’re grateful for anything.
“We do try and keep the cats on Whiskas because you can get it pretty much anywhere, but we’re happy for anything.”
The branch is also in need of dry food for kittens as it currently has two litters in its care.
Donations can be dropped off at the animal centre on Redcross Street (between 11.30am and 3.30pm to reception, six days a week - every day except Wednesday), any of the eight RSPCA Rochdale charity shops (during opening hours) or via the pet food donation bins in both the Heywood and Rochdale Morrisons stores.
